It's safe to say the Brown sisters of Manchester, England are missing their compassion gene. Their saga began when Samantha Brown and her boyfriend, Dean Darvill, were at her sister Tori's house to do a little partying. 

It seems she caught the frisky Darvill in what's known as a compromising state with another woman at the party. Darvill countered by accusing Samantha (pictured top) of being a lesbian. We're guessing the ensuing dialogue was not scripted by Chaucer.

Alas, Samantha decided to end the beef by taking it nuclear. She stabbed him in the groin, then bolted the scene.

As those of you with a basic understanding of anatomy may be aware, the Greater Testicular Region tends to gush blood like a theme park water ride. But Darvill was either too hammered or too wounded to make it to a hospital on his own. And Samantha's sister Tori refused to call the cops.

Darvill begged her to call paramedics, but Tori refused. She also stopped another woman from calling an ambulance.

After an hour of letting Darvill bleed, Tori was gracious enough to call his family to inform them that their lovely boy was bleeding like a pig. They too begged her to call an ambulance. Once again she refused. Nor would she provide them with an address to make the call themselves.

Two hours after the stabbing, someone got around to phoning for assistance. But by that time it was too late. Darvill had died from massive blood loss.

After she was arrested, Tori explained that she didn't call the cops because she didn't want a disturbance to wake her sleeping son. That, it seems, was enough to sway a judge into granting her leniency. Or maybe Britain just has a really shitty legal system.

Tori was sentenced to just four years for refusing to seek medical attention. Sister Samantha, meanwhile, got a mere five years for stabbing her boyfriend to death.
