In the complaint, the NLRB said the employee was asked to prepare a report on a customer complaint against her, then turned down when she asked for representation in the matter from her union, Teamsters Local 443. Later, at home, she posted angrily about the situation.

Cigarette warning labels are going to get a graphic and disturbing makeover. Corpses, cancer patients and diseased lungs are among the images the federal government plans for larger, graphic warning labels that would take up half of each pack of cigarettes sold in the United States. Whether smokers addicted to nicotine will see them as a reason to quit remains a question. The images are part of a new campaign announced by the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday to reduce tobacco use, which is responsible for about 443,000 deaths per year.

(Reuters) - Yahoo Inc called a media report it was planning to cut one-fifth of its workforce "misleading and inaccurate," but the Web portal stopped short of ruling out any layoffs.

Yahoo, which is trying to revive revenue growth amid competition from search giant Google and fast-growing social networking services like Facebook, said in an emailed statement on Thursday it is "always evaluating expenses to align with the company's financial goals."

"However, a 20 percent reduction in Yahoo's workforce across the board is misleading and inaccurate," the statement said.

BAZ BAMIGBOYE: Exclusive first glimpse of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

A better title for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 1 might be Hermione Takes Charge. At one point in this penultimate adventure, Rupert Grint’s endearingly gormless Ron Weasley tells Hermione: ‘You’re best at spells.’She is. And somehow - and I’m not sure how it happened - Emma Watson, who has played the Hogwarts swot for a decade, has cast her spell over me. She’s mesmerising in her quiet, methodical, no-nonsense way, and is definitely the heat source in this movie. To be sure, Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter is no slouch. He is The Chosen One after all, and the story revolves around him.
